Representatives of the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova Participated in Drini Day 2026
On 10 July 2026, representatives of the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova participated in the Drin Day 2026 event, an important initiative dedicated to the protection and sustainable management of the White Drin River Basin organized by NGO “Rilindja e Gjelbër” from Peja.
The University was represented by Bujar Nura, Officer at the International Relations Office, Besmir Pepshi, President of the Student Parliament, and a group of students from different faculties, who had the opportunity to attend the discussions and contribute to the exchange of ideas on environmental issues.
This year's central theme focused on drought, its impacts on the White Drin River Basin, community responses, and strategies for strengthening resilience and adapting to climate change. The event brought together representatives of public institutions, civil society organizations, academia, and local and international partners to discuss the key findings of the report "Summary of Citizens' Perceptions of the White Drin River Basin" and to identify priorities for the sustainable governance of water resources through a panel discussion.
