On April 17, 2025, in regards to the cooperation between Caritas Kosova and University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova, was held the training with the topic: ‘’Accessible Communication’’, organized in regards to the ACTIVE 2 project- ‘’Accessible Communication towards inclusion of the Vulnerable and Marginalized People in Western Balkan.

The training took place with the active participation of the students of the Faculty of Education, from the Primary and Preschool Education Programs. During the training, the students had the opportunity to get to know more closely with the basic concepts, principles and standards of the Easy and Accessible Language, as well as with the importance of Easy Reading for the inclusion of the marginalized groups in society.

Apart from the theoretical part, the training also included practical exercises, where students worked in groups in order to simplify the existing texts, and to create accessible materials for people with special needs and limited needs in communication. This experience helped them develop professional skills for a more equal, clear and inclusive communication.

This training represents an important step towards education of the new generations for the significance of the accessible communication, and it’s a proof of the mutual commitment for a more inclusive and sensible education towards diversity.
