EPALE – Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe
Dear students and graduates,
EPALE – Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe is a European, multilingual and open community for professionals working in adult education, including adult educators and trainers, advisory and support staff, researchers and academics, as well as policymakers.
EPALE is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme. It is part of the European Union’s strategy to promote more and better learning opportunities for all adults.
EPALE NSS Kosovo is implemented by the Kosovo Erasmus+ Office (KEO). The Kosovo Erasmus+ Office has been active since 2015 and is responsible for promoting the Erasmus+ Programme in Kosovo, aligning its activities with the Kosovo Education Strategic Plan (2022–2026), approved by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI). The main objectives of KEO include:
Supporting quality and inclusive education
Assisting educational institutions in Kosovo in applying for Erasmus+ projects
Facilitating partnerships between educational institutions in Kosovo and those in the EU
Promoting lifelong learning and the development of digital skills in line with global trends and closely aligned with the objectives of the Erasmus+ Programme
Providing information on the opportunities offered by Erasmus+ to students, academics, researchers and institutions; organizing information sessions, workshops and promotional campaigns
Advising the government and stakeholders on internationalization and mobility strategies
The EPALE project, co-financed by MESTI, aims to ensure the sustainability and ownership of the implementation process. Cooperation between the Kosovo Erasmus+ Office (KEO) and MESTI is essential for the development of the EPALE structure and for establishing a high-quality National Support Service (NSS), aligned with best practices in adult education.
The platform is free of charge and available in 32 languages, including Albanian. It offers professional resources, training opportunities, webinars, as well as networking and collaboration opportunities with professionals and institutions from across Europe.
