Capacity Building in International Relations and Project Writing is a type of partnership project program, with a duration of 18 months, beginning from January 2018. The purpose of this project is internationalization of higher education institutions and capacity building for the needs of the faculties and the creation of international cooperation to advance the higher education system in Kosovo, cooperating with different mutual programs and research studies with other universities.

Initiating meeting of the project "Capacity Building in International Relations and Project Writing"

On March 27, 2018 was held the initiating meeting of the Partnership Program Project of HERAS, called ‘’Capacity building in international relations and project writing’’, which will be implemented through the Austrian and Kosovar partnership. The partnership is between the University of the Applied Sciences of Salzburg (SUAS) and by the Austrian party, while from the Kosovar party we have:

University of Gjilan "Kadri Zeka" as project coordinator;

University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj;

University of Prizren "Ukshin Hoti";

University of Gjakova "Fehmi Agani";

University of Peja "Haxhi Zeka" and

University of Mitrovica "Isa Boletini".

The official opening of the project took place in the University of Gjilan, where present were all the rectors of the public universities mentioned, which presented the main developments in their Universities, and the primary needs in the development of internationalization, mobilities and projects. The second day of the official proceeding, on March 28, the partner universities participated in the organized workshop in the premises of the University of Prizren, with a central focus on the sharing of the good practices by the University of the Applied Sciences of Salzburg (SUAS)in the field of capacity building in the international relations and project writing.

This programmatic partnership project will be implemented over 18 months, ensuring mobility, knowledge exchange and study visits between Austrian and Kosovar partners.
