Open Lecture at the Faculty of Education in Honor of March 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th
Students of the Faculty of Education organized an open lecture in honor of the important historical and social dates of March – March 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th. The activity was organized with the aim of commemorating and appreciating significant events in our history, as well as highlighting the role of education, sacrifice, and the contribution of women in society.
The activity opened with a welcoming speech by the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Edita Haxhijaha, who emphasized the importance these dates hold for historical memory and for the role of education in shaping new generations. She underlined that the Faculty’s mission is to prepare future teachers and cultivate human values among students, stressing that the greatest investment for a brighter future is education.
Distinguished panelists participated in the lecture and shared with students their experiences and reflections on the importance of these dates. The panel included: Ms. Sala Jashari, Ms. Pranvera Xharra Ballata, Ms. Shkëndije Bokshi Nagavci, and Ms. Sindorela Doli Kryeziu.
During the discussion, topics related to the Epic of the Kosovo Liberation Army (March 5th, 6th and 7th), Teacher’s Day – March 7th, and International Women’s Day – March 8th were addressed, emphasizing the importance of sacrifice, knowledge, and the role of women in the development of society and in educating new generations.
The program was further enriched with artistic performances prepared by students of the Faculty of Education. At the conclusion of the event, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the panelists by the organizers as a sign of gratitude for their contribution and participation.
This activity once again demonstrated the commitment of the students of the Faculty of Education to promoting educational, cultural, and social values within the university community.
