On January 21, 2026, our assistant, Ass. Vllaznim Mula, successfully defended his doctoral dissertation at the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Department of Chemistry.

The dissertation, entitled:

“Assessment and Characterization of Volatile Organic Compounds in Indoor and Outdoor Air Through Passive Sampling and Advanced Analytical Techniques”, was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zoran Zdravkovski and co-supervision of Prof. Dr. Jane Bogdanov.

An important part of the research was carried out at the University of Milan, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Giangiacomo Beretta, within the framework of the NanoKos project, funded by the European Union, giving the work a clear international and scientific dimension.

Our faculty wishes Ass. Vllaznim Mula continued success in his professional and scientific career and expresses pride in this outstanding achievement!
