Faculty of Education in Support of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence
As part of the global campaign “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence”, the Faculty of Education has organized an open sensitization lecture, with the aim of raising awareness and creating a space for discussion on the prevention of violence and the promotion of gender equality. This event was attended by three respected speakers: • Veprore Shehu – Director of the Medica Kosova Center, one of the most powerful voices in the protection and empowerment of women survivors of violence. • Prof. Dr. Behxhet Gaxhiqi – Academic and university professor, who will bring the scientific and social perspective regarding the challenges of our society towards gender-based violence. • Ass. Mr. Emirjeta Kumnova – Lecturer at the Faculty of Education and psychologist engaged in the development of educational policies and education for equality.
This lecture aims to inspire students, the academic community, and citizens to become an active part of change, promoting a culture of respect, safety, and equality for all.
