The Rector of the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku has been selected to be part of the Research and Innovation Strategy Group (RISG). Research and Innovation Strategy Group (RISG) was primarily created to formulate the EUA (European Union Association) strategy and politics for all Research and Innovation topics which are of a high importance for the European Universities.

Relying on the legacy of the former Working Group for Research Politics, RISG provides counseling and support for the EUA Board, based on the scanning of the strategic horizon and the review of politics. The group also formulates the positions, declarations and recommendations of the EUA on the European programs of Research and Innovation.

This achievement speaks once more about the commitment of the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova and of the Rector Bunjaku to be involved in the development of science and innovation, in both the regional and national level. This participation is significant since it generally strengthens the bond between universities and research politics in Europe.
